The Parousia is the remains of a God-like being. It was originally a world tree, destroyed by The Goddess of Desire, for unknown reasons. The aftermath was an uncontrollable and otherworldly being that only sought to envelop those in its carnage. It took the form of a storm, covering 80% of the world, and like a storm, it is an unavoidable natural disaster.
